South Woods Preservation Group - NE 150th and 25th Ave NE

Where:  NE 150th and 25th Ave NE, park in Shorecrest High School south parking lot.

When:  Third Saturday monthly 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Why: Help eliminate invasive ivy, invasive holly and preserve South Woods

Notes:  If you have tools please bring them, if you don't please come anyway.  Useful tools:  pruning shears, shovels, loppers, wheelbarrows, small saws, old tarp.  Label any tools you bring with your ownership.

Dress for the weather, wear gloves.  Bring your own water bottle.

Mercer Island

Ivy pulls and restoration projects are happening on at least four Open Space Parks on Mercer Island:
Pioneer Park
Mercerdale Hillside
Upper Luther Burbank Park
Clise Park

Times are usually 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Rain or Shine.  Wear long pants, long sleeve shirt and gloves.  Bring hand pruners if you have them.

Stewards of Forest Park  (www.sofp.org)  Work parties are from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. every 1st Saturday of the month.

Where:  802 E. Mukilteo Blvd., Forest Park, Everett, WA. 

Notes:  Meet at the sports courts.  Wear work clothes, sturdy shoes and 

rain gear if necessary.  If you have them, bring your own gloves, tools and   reusable water bottle.  Snacks will be provided.
